The 55th General Assembly of the Atlantic Treaty Association (GA ATA) “Security for Civil Society in the 21st Century” will be held in Kyiv on October 7-10, 2009. The Atlantic Treaty Association is a non-governmental organization which acts as a network facilitator in the Euro-Atlantic space and beyond. The ATA annually engages political leaders, academics, and diplomats from NATO member and partner countries in an effort to promote values enshrined in the North Atlantic Treaty: democracy, freedom, peace, security, and the rule of law.
