In article the potential direction of future relations between Ukraine and NATO was researched in the context of NATO's summit in Strasbourg/Kehl decisions and international relations.  It was identified the main causes of impracticability at this time raise cooperation to a qualitatively new level and the conclusion about reasonability making of a strategy of building Ukrainian relations with NATO. The ways to improve partnership within the framework of the Intensified Dialogue status were examined. The key decisions of NATO's summit were analyzed and are offered options for a new, more efficient mechanism of partnership between Ukraine and NATO in the framework of existing procedures. The conclusion about suitability continue to participate in all the instruments and joint partnership activities, gradually trying to get some influence on decision-making process in NATO, at least on those areas where Ukraine is on a level with NATO's members for commitment and responsibility.
