About us
Nongovernmental Organization "Center of Euro-Atlantic integration in m. Dnipropetrovs'k" is city public information-analytic organization, created for informing of citizens of Dnipropetrovs'k in relation to the legislatively set foreign-policy course of the country on European and Euro-Atlantic integration. The Center was created on 28th February, 2007.
The primary purpose of the Center is providing operative, objective and professional information to citizens of Dnipropetrovs'k about relations between NATO and Ukraine, NATO's activity, determination of optimum ways and methods of explanation of foreign-policy priorities of Ukraine, correlated with of external transformations.
Basic tasks:

informing the people of Dnipropetrovs'k about NATO (history, organizational structure, basic activities, etc.) through mass-media;

operative distribution and explanation of basic documents and literature about relations of the special partnership between Ukraine and NATO; organizing conferences, round-tables, seminars, focal groups;

making of information-analytic materials, expert estimations and edition of publications;

participation in the measures of public diplomacy and international to scientifically elucidative activity;

organization of visits to the basic structures of NATO for the citizens of Dnipropetrovs'k, implementing general measures, on the basis of educational establishments of city, etc.

Activities:
The Center is realizing projects jointly with Civic Association "Jagello 2000" (the Czech Republic), the projects are supported by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic.
In 2008, the Center organized 2 conferences, 3 round tables, lectures, briefings, evenings of questions and answers, etc. It also monitors international events, in particular relations Ukraine - NATO, and publishes a bulletin twice a year.
The Center has about 200 books in its library fund. Literature was given the National Center of Euro-Atlantic integration and NATO Information and Documentation Centrein Ukraine.
